Hello, I'm Ming.

I approach design as a process of understanding before solving. Not only understanding people, but also understanding context—the technical limitations, cultural nuances, and realities that shape how a product ultimately exists in the world.

Over time, I’ve learned that meaningful solutions rarely come from surface-level observations. They come from understanding what is constrained, what is negotiable, and what truly matters. To me, design is less about expression and more about judgment—knowing when to push, when to simplify, and when to let the problem itself guide the outcome.

Having worked across different regions and with people from diverse backgrounds, I value clarity, listening, and thoughtful collaboration. Differences in perspective—whether cultural, technical, or experiential—are not obstacles, but signals to pay closer attention. Often, they reveal the core of the problem.

I’m drawn to work that requires patience and responsibility: navigating complexity, balancing priorities, and making decisions that hold up beyond the initial idea. When a solution feels quiet, grounded, and considered, that is usually when it is right.
